Ohhh .. I thought the finals was today Was wondering why it was 8pm and her match hadn't started yet.

Re: IW Chat Thread
I'm so happy for Delpo I hope he stays healthy and he can be #5
I should have had to cheer for Nole as he's one of my faves with Delpo and Roger but I had to root for the underdog :P
I also have troubles rooting against Rafa since he came back, I feel I have the "injury bonus" with him, I can't go against him and having my mom and a friend cheering for him they're slowly turning me into a psuedofan I really don't know what will I do at the RG when it will be Novak's first win against Rafa's comeback and 8th title

Obviously, we strive for perfection in both ways: when it's our fave they're never good enough or when they're "against" they're too good

Exactly like this maybe that's the reason my feeling for Nole went a little down after the first slam of 2012, he was too perfect winning everything and I was happy for Rafa when he came back winning on clay.. And now it's the same again with Novak being too strong since the start of the season and Rafa having to climb up again the rankings (not that #5 is bad...)

And I totally agree here too I'd never have a problem with Roger's perfection, he's just a pleasure for the eyes when he plays and I agree with what I heard on tv today by Ljubicic (whom is a friend of Roger), they said how they'd rather see him more rarely (like now, he's right taking a break until may) but seeing him 3-4 more years playing with caution and keeping healthy (say, 15 tournaments per year), than seeing him play a lot (like 20) but having to stop in 1-2 years.
And... I wish I was there during Chrissie's years, she must have been a Queen on clay. I wonder how she was when she had that 125 matches streak on clay over 6 years

I kind of want Rafa to win he hasn't won a HC title in a while (like someone else ) and I feel sorry for him after the injury

Re: IW Chat Thread
Wow Delpo! I missed the match, but Sky is showing it again this afternoon, so I'll definitely watch! Novak was bound to lose sooner or later! He always starts the year with a great winning streak! I think fatigue will be a factor in the final and Rafa will win in two, but I'll be cheering for Delpo!

Re: IW Chat Thread
I knew Novak wasn't winning 2013 IW when Vika withdrew, they seem to have always won the same tournaments.

Re: IW Chat Thread
I wish Juan would play aggressive style, painting the lines with powerful winners, not this hard-hitting defensive style You just can't play this defensive and play long rallies with Rafa if your last name is not Djokovic (okay, I mean Novak, not his brother Marko..)
