Re: Road to the Premiers in Indian Wells and Miami: Expectations?

I only want Serena and Li Na to be healthy, sort out the injuries they have been carrying since AO and then big things can happen. So far Azarenka must have been the luckiest player on tour getting all the injured opponents possible, including Jamie Hampton.

You have to make some of your own luck. Azarenka was good enough to reach the Australian Open final. She was good enough to beat Serena when the others all week couldn't take advantage.

You could argue Azarenka also had minor injuries. And not like Li Na could win over Azarenka last year anyway. When Serena plays 100% i still think she will win, but she needs to be very close to that level.

Re: Road to the Premiers in Indian Wells and Miami: Expectations?

I think Maria will beat Azarenka in IW final, and Serena will win Miami obviously.

Why do you think Sharapova will defeat BB?

lol Is BB a new nickname for Vika? I don't get it....Anyway, I just think she will. Maria was starting to get the hang of Vika's game last year. Vika has all the pressure and except her match against Serena (who played really badly) Vika hasn't been near her best throughout the year.

Inexplicable, but that's the Petra roller coaster for you. Next time, Serena may not be so lucky.

I do, however, give credit to Serena for holding her own serve near the end. Lesser players would not have done so.
I've read a few Petra fan posts when Petra and Serena are the subjects. For Petra to have never beaten Serena, some Petra fans are cocky. The results are what they are, and no one receives extra credit points for almost getting to the finish line.

Kabezya,
Sorry if you don't Ike my confidence in Kvitova. I truly believe that her game, when on, is superior to anyone else's A-game.

I respect Serena, and she's the best over the course of a career. I don't think her best is better than Petra's, though.

Oh I have to disagree. Serena's best is a little better than Petra. That said, I think Petra is better than everyone but Serena, IMO.
