Special rankings are quite useless actually. I don't recall any player taking advantage of it, they usually bomb out early in a tournament.

Someone in the comments section of prosport wants to have insider information that Alexandra might receive a main draw wildcard for Acapulco.

Don't know if it's trustworthy, though.

Can anybody here help me make sense of this? I saw Facebook pictures with Alexandra at players party in Bogota and Acapulco. Yet she is not participating in either tournament.

Full of herself is maybe the wrong expression, because otherwise she wouldn't have played some 10k in Turkey after all. She was too idealist, that's Alexandra, she always believes than things come true if you believe hard enough like she did with her knee pain hoping things will solve without her making a break or considering an operation, but reality is different.
