Got a WC into this week's Heraklion. Has not been playing well here. Hopefully she can turn it around.

Along with the WC, Aminat was made the #6 seed.

She defeated Ivana, 4 & 0, the edged Borislava Botusharova, 76(2) 36 63. She then fell in three to 16 y.o. Valentini Grammatikopoulou, 63 46 16. Still not great form, but the first time she's put two wins together in 5 tournaments.

Plays Heraklion against next week. As the #3 in qualifying got a bye into the main draw.

Qualifier and #5 seed in the main draw, Aminat won her opener against Stefanie Stemmer, 76(7) 62. She is now 2-0 against her.

Now faces #1 seed, fellow qualifier, and fellow junior rival Tamara Curovic. She's 0-1 against Tamara in junior play.

Now she faces her new nemesis again, 16 y.o. Valentini Grammatikopoulou, who took her out of two Heraklions this year, in successive rounds. Can she find a way around her this time?

^ Actually w/o from that tournament, and after a month off played the 25K Karshi qualies. She was the #6 seed, and barely escaped an upset by #11 Anna Smolina, 62 36 76(6)!

Now faces #8 Akiko Omae first round.
