Re: The Middle East Swing Part I: Destination Doha

Law of averages...Vika was due a win. It's good for the sport, good for the rivalry, and maybe good for Rena (in the long run)- just not good for us fans...lol. But like I said the campaign in Doha was a success. Vika may have taken the title but Rena has taken the top spot. I'm good.

Re: The Middle East Swing Part I: Destination Doha

Not sure how I feel this week, it's felt off since the beginning and so has Serena's game
Please WD Dubai and come back in GodRena mode for Miami.

It's a weird match to lose, but then again not that surprising that Azarenka would get a win at some point, hopefully Serena can crush her in their next meeting to break her mentally again.

This.

I'd prefer a win here than in a slam. And because they two of them have established themselves as a strong Top 2, they're only gonna meet in finals from here out.

Next indeed.

I am still hot. I had to restrain myself from going on Twitter and telling her about herself.

WTA is having a laugh!!!! This is the hot shot of the match???? LMAO! Talk about bias here!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zegpFc80V_E

Everyone knows that the ultimate hot shot of the year was Serena's in the second set at 5-2 (second point). Nothing beats that!

Apparently, she was doing some Justine Henin. Several times when Serena was able to serve, she raised her hand to disturb Serena.

Yeah, and doing so at the time when she knew Serena's serve wasn't working anyway. Just to mess with her head even more. I hope from now on Serena will give her Maria treatment, no mercy, no smiles, no nothing, just real GAME.

Re: The Middle East Swing Part I: Destination Doha

She did it during Wimbledon too which was understandable because serena hit 24 aces but to resort to it in a tour final while serena wasn't even serving well, speaks volumes of Victoria's gamesmanship

Was it what Serena complained about to Asderaki and she replied: I TOLD YOU IT'S NOT THE CASE?

And I can see this happening. Serena doesn't take too kindly to underhanded business on the court. Say what you want about her, but Serena does not cheat her opponents. I generally like Victoria, but this lack of judgement and desperation against Serena of all players will not go unpunished. She is a rival and a friendly one at that, but Serena is superior on all levels.
