Peer continues to slide in the rankings. Out of top 120 with quite a lot of points to defend in the next three months. Three matches won (plus two in Fed Cup) since the FO 2012.

Expected - both this result and the slide - but sad 
It's her first time out of the top 100 since she first entered it in April 2005, just before her 18th birthday.
To be honest, the only reason she didn't drop out earlier was a string of ridiculous R1 draws at the start of last year (Holland, Lalami, Al Nabhani) and she could have gotten a lot worse than Panova at the recent AO too.
She hasn't been playing top 100 tennis for a long, long while.
Flipkens, on the other hand, has caught fire since her unexpected run in Den Bosch and is clearly in the form of her life.
I wouldn't be surprised if she makes the top 20.
