Fed Cup WG II play-offs
Draw has been made, and we got Poland
We do have the home advantage but if Aga is playing it's basically 0-2 for Poland already.
We'll have to hope for a miracle but it seems we will be stuck in zonal Group I next year

Ouch, and the zonal groups are like battle fields, not easy to get up again.

Re: Fed Cup WG II play-offs
Well we all knew that the post-Kim & Justine era was going to be rough... Maybe playing in zonal ties will be better for players like Van Uytvanck who need to grow more as a player. After all, even Flipkens is already 27 so it's players such as Van Uytvanck who will be of critical importance in the next 5-10 years.

True
But Radwanska certainly is a better player now than she was back then... And I don't think we can say the same about Yanina, unfortunately
And back then Domachowska was there number two singles player, and she lost both ties. It will be tougher against Urszula Radwanska.
Of course I hope our girls bring out the best in themselves and win, but there were certainly easier opponents to be drawn against than Poland...

It will be played at Koksijde on 20-21 april
On hardcourt, and it will be indoor.

Re: Fed Cup WG II play-offs
I don't find it that surprising that Aga is coming, she has always played Fed Cup.

Re: Fed Cup WG II play-offs
Yeah indeed. Aga is always playing.
I don't understand why they are doing it in Koksijde and not more in the centre.
They will be sure, there is nobody watching the game

Nobody would have watched it anyway, so they tried to find the smallest possible venue
