Re: Going East for Success (February Thread)
Ana took the first set and then Halep retired. An through to face Radwanska in round 3. Hopefully she does better than in Australia.

Re: Going East for Success (February Thread)
Points defended. Let's hope it will be less windy against Aga and that she'll be aggressive like she was today. Her 1st serve % was 41, she'll need to serve better, so let's pray for the wind to go away.

Re: Going East for Success (February Thread)
I don't know, that headcase moment (enrage ) at 3/1 40:0....3/2. She's not a little girl anymore, it's almost every match, she needs to calm and focus and maybe then she can serve better and hit better That patience she talked about, we'll see...

Re: Going East for Success (February Thread)
Radwanska playing with her head again, that's a chance for how many matches won in a row vs. Ana? Ana if wants to win has to use Radwanska's tiredness. I can see a mutual mugfest. I don't know what to say.

When she beat Fran and Makiri, that was Dubai then?

Yes, Dubai. Ana made QF there.

Re: Going East for Success (February Thread)
I celebrate every bagel Vinci eats, even if it's a 3 setter.

Re: Going East for Success (February Thread)
TBH, this won't be a good week for me unless she beats Aga. Like she needs to make that breakthrough. I'm not going to be satisfied with this mediocrity of just getting to the matches against these big seeds. This might be her best chance.

Re: Going East for Success (February Thread)
i don't expect too much now for ana as I used to.
i am still afraid with ups and downs of her performances
to be honest, there will be not big change in her ranking this year, i think it's pretty same with 2012.

But why? It's a nice set of #1 players who has double bageled: Ana, Masha and Dinara
