Re: Going East for Success (February Thread)
Vranes said in an interview for "Sportski zurnal" that Ana has a shoulder injury and that was the reason why she couldn't serve well in Perth and Melbourne. She's in therapy, she's ready to help her team in Nis, but her medical team will decide wheter she will play or not.

Re: Going East for Success (February Thread)
She has a shoulder injury? Why we didn't see any treatment on her during the HC and AO, like Radwanska had or something and why we get to know that 2 months after? Would we even get to know if there wasn't Fed Cup? Ana?! I don' t need a twitter but she could improve her "internet communication" with her fans.

Re: Going East for Success (February Thread)
I don't know...Vranes said JJ's decision to retire from FC team Serbia has deeply affected girls and him, so he asked her to reconsider that decision...The problem is - JJ has a serious abdominal injury ...she has a tear a few centimeters in length... But he hopes Ana will be OK and is counting on her to play against Slovakia.

So,the Fed Cup will be the youngsters' show, it seems. Considering the scenario without Ana&JJ who is Serbia left with? BoJo,Krunic,Dolonc + ???

Re: Going East for Success (February Thread)
Oh gosh, why did she even play Pattaya then? Why risk it? Would explain her awful serving against Morita in Pattaya. Sometimes I don't get Ana's decision making.

Re: Going East for Success (February Thread)
Well at least it makes her 'it's hard to play tournaments close together' thing easier to fathom .

That's so odd though. If she had it even in Perth then why is this the first anyone has heard of it?

Re: Going East for Success (February Thread)
I just hope Ana will be fine. If she recoveres for FED Cup great, but if she doesn't it would be better for her to take a rest and then to play Doha and Dubai.

Yup, she could help her ranking if she did well there. Fed Cup is a nice event but it won't help her to get closer to her goals (e.g.YEC)

What Ana say that is hers favorite movie? She says that hers favorite Music performer is Adelle, favorite athlete Michael Jordan, favorite country Australia and favorite food sushi, but I don't heard what is hers newest favorite movie.

Interesting choice. I would expect she'd name some romantic movie. She seems to be a day-dreamer type of person.
