I guess she is still mad at WTA for her ban and doesn't want to start from scratch?

Dunno. But looks like tennis is not in her plans ftm. I believe she got married. Don't know much actually.

What intrigates me is that her ban wasn't that long (compared to Sesil's one for instance) and she didn't even give a try to come back and see. Maybe she didn't like it enough to start everything all over again.

So you basically have to take nothing. One of my coaches was a tennis player ranked maybe 200, he was too afraid to take anything when he was sick. It's ridiculous. One day someone in some sport will refuse to take something prescribed to them by a doctor, or in a hospital, for fear of testing positive, and will die as a result. Only then will the situation change.

Hopefully she will have a good comeback in 2011.

One of my friends went to the YOG for European Handball and had a friend who had a puffer for asthma. She accidentally took too much and has been banned from handball for 2 years. This is not the worst case by far, but it is disappointing. But still, the rules are the rules

I was just thinking of her when I learnt Barbora ZS got tested positive on something. As for Barbora we still dunno what's it's all about already, Kristina's story makes me sad. Too bad really it stopped her carreer as she was on her way to break Top 100. I really liked this player. It doesn't seem like she's planning a comeback at all though, that's just too sad.

I guess it pretty much disgusted her from tennis, yeah. She seems to be happy in whatever her new life is though, so I guess it's all that matters.

And she happens to have the loveliest dog ever

It's not like she was hopeless just before, she really showed some potential. Well, I know we'll never know. Maybe it definitely disgusted her from the system, or maybe she just wasn't motivated enough to start it all over again, for tennis is a very demanding sport, I know. That's just sad.
