That doesn't sound good. If it were an ankle/knee type of injury she'd probably retire right away and not play several games while not feeling well. This sounds like something that could be connected to mono - when you think you can continue and do, only to realize it's not doing you any good. Really hope I'm wrong.
Next she'll face the 6th seed Olga Puchkova, a very tough task for Ajla, but never say never They've never played eachother but it's enough to say that Puchkova's c-h is #32 to figure out this'll be a memorable experience for Ajla whatever happens. A win would be simply astonishing at this point, but even a competitive match would be wonderful to see against such a solid player.
