Well, Na got a zero pointer in Doha or Dubai last year anyway. And she lost in R1s of 2 out of the 16/17 tournaments she played last year as well. So it really doesn't affect her ranking much with these two zero pointers. Also, Vika, Maria and Aga have quite a lot of points to defend in the G.S tournaments and other big tournaments this year. Na might still break into top 3 if she outperforms them in these tournaments.

I was hoping that Na'd get some free/easy points in Doha/Dubai as she hardly played these two tournaments in the past few years.

He won't. He knows that Na needs to defend some points there and Rome's surface is a bit like French Open surface.

He's kind of annoying, though. At the beginning, he wanted Na to just play Doha or Dubai. Then after a while, he changed his mind and he wanted Na to skip both.

By the way, it looks like Na will play two MM tournaments (Shenzhen and Hong Kong) in 2014.

The Australian doctors said she twisted her left ankle a bit, but it's not serious. But then she really stopped running to some of the balls on her left-handed side. And her bh was totally disappeared.

And some posters were hoping Na'd keep her injured ankle moving during that fireworks, but she didn't. Then she fell down again. Some even blamed on that trainer, who didn't wrap her ankle properly.

It was funny that the momentum shifted couple times in that match. Na served and played well until the end of the first set, then she served well again at 1*-1 in the 3rd set before that freaking fireworks.
