Yana is into her second SF of the year, after defeating 16 yo Mari Osaka, 1 & 2. Now faces #2 Maria-Fernanda Alves for a spot in the final. Yana has a 1-0 lead in their h2h.

Bad news: was a LWQ on the 28th.
Good news: was named AgSouth Homegrown Athlete of the Week:
Yana Koroleva, Women's Tennis, Sophomore, Moscow, Russia Koroleva earned a win against No. 12 Mary Anne Macfarlane of Alabama in Clemson's 4-2 loss to the Crimson Tide. She trailed 5-1 in each set before roaring back for the victory in her straight-set win. Koroleva, ranked 32nd nationally, played No. 1 singles for the Tigers in both of their matches against top-25 competition.
