Your point?
None of those are top players (except Ferrer if you want to be generous), those "meltdowns" didn't have that much influence on their tennis (Janowicz won, Ferrer lost 5-7 in the fifth and Bagdhatis lost in four to Wawrinka who is a better player), and most of those aren't "meltdowns" at all, especially Ferrer was just having a little talk with himself, I probably do crazier things when I lose at a video game.

If this is the best you can find that really says something about the argument you're trying to make.... That's really not the same as starting to cry on the court, losing bagle or breadstick sets against bad opponents, etc...

What does a few men going off at the sit down have to do with mental toughness on the court? Men smash racquets, scream at umpires ect, but they play. Women lose the plot on the court, you know, in tears returning, tanking after losing a first set tie breaker, taking medical time outs when losing ect.

Get with it people, the WTA is the B team and no one anywhere pays money to watch the B team play. They will continue to ride the coat tails of ATP because if they ever slip off, its over.

Every pro tennis player is riding Federer's coat tail at this point.
The ATP's popularity will take a major hit when he retires. The Djokovic/Murray rivalry doesn't exciting the fans much.

The WTA has plenty of new stars coming up while the ATP's biggest hope is Raonic. He's a nice game but he's no Federer.

Like Djokovic's MTO the game before Murray served for, uh, THE US OPEN TITLE? Or Nadal's intentional bump of Rosol at Wimbledon? Or Tipsarevic's Golden Slam of retirements?

Great sports, that lot.

Well the scrubs might do that but I don't think for example JJ buys tampons or maxi pads herself (because that sort of drugstore/grocery activity would require her to hold something other than a handbag).

Nadal took a bathroom before Federer served for the match last year in Indian Wells.
No one said a word.

He has the same PR guy as Azarenka...

And it's only fitting that Federer aced that annoying OCD prick on MP after a brief rain delay.

Too bad Sloane couldn't just bombard Vika with aces left and right to show her that delaying tactic is futile.

True. ATP will gradually lose its spark when Federer retire. When three others retire, ATP will lose a lot of interest if there are no visible talents that can match or surpass their standards at that moment.

However, WTA still has the same problem. Serena alone is still superior to the current young generation. Vika is promising but why she looks so vulnerable. I thought Kvitova could do even better, but it seems like she needs more time and hopefully doesn't meltdown like Ivanovic.

Well at least Vika didn't do it from a losing position unlike Nadal and Djokovic.

Those two clowns were getting outplayed completely and tried to take a futile break to disrupt their opponent's rhythm while they tried to serve for the match.

Perhaps the ATP needs a break, just to see what happens?

Haven't checked this thread for a while, are WTA players still more unstable emotionally or they already got over it?

So it's obvious ATP has more depth, and that can be seen in the top 10. Plus Bo5 makes it more difficult to win a slam for men who are one step below the top.
Different ranking systems. Men will get a ranking as soon they earn one ranking point. Women have to earn at least 10 points or score points from three different tournaments. 1863 women would be ranked, if WTA would use the same rule as ATP.
