Tickets for Madrid Open 2013?
I am planning to go to Madrid but don't want to buy any tickets in advance. Does anyone know if it's possible to buy tickets at the box office on the day of play? I remember last year the stands were almost empty and I don't think this year it will be much different, so I believe tickets should be available. Can someone confirm? Anyone did this before?

Re: Tickets for Madrid Open 2013?
I was there last year and went to the early rounds on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and had no problems buying tickets on the day. I'm not sure about the later stages of the tournament though.

Re: Tickets for Madrid Open 2013?
Thanks guys. I am interested in going to early rounds so it seems I shouldn't have problems getting tickets then. Sounds tempting. I may do it then.

It starts on Monday 6th May, so I was thinking about Round 1-3 or something, maybe QF as well. Are you coming?

WTA starts on Saturday 4th
For early rounds there is no problem. From Wednesday you may have problems to buy tickets for central court if Nadal is playing, but you can buy for the other courts
I would get the tickets online a few days in advance, but if not, get them all the first day in the box office. This way you will save the queue, that is usually very slow.
Enjoy your stay if you're finally coming!

Thx, I am hoping Serena will have a Bye in Round 1, so I would like to attend from Monday. So, when I arrive, I should buy all the tickets (for other days too) on Monday?
Any tips or good hotels nearby?

Re: Tickets for Madrid Open 2013?
I bought the ticket 2 weeks before it started 3 years ago, and by that time they offered an extra ticket if you took Metro Madrid
