Group 1:
Very even, with Mirza and Kumkum being able to score against KAZs #1s, but I think it will end like this:
1. KAZ
2. THA
3. IND
Group 2:
Chinese Taipei might cause some upsets here as well as Akgul for UZB, also in doubles they might do well..
China has everying to lose it all, IMO it will end like this:
1. TPE
2. CHN/UZB
4. KOR

Sania is not playing. So it will be two of the players in 500s, who will take on Shedova and Pervak. In Davis Cup tie against Korea (who didnt have a single player in top 300) , India was considered the underdog and rightly so as the singles players failed to win even a set. Not sure, what to call this Fed Cup team!

Kazakhstan have 4 good singles players, they will be very hard to beat. Thailand may be able to upset Kazakhstan, but the Thai captain has to pick the right players for the singles. Pervak and Shvedova will be unbeaten though, you'd think. Hopefully Varatchaya and Luksika get put on singles since they are the Thai girls that have been impressing lately.

Group 2:
1. CHN
2. UZB
3. TPE
4. KOR
China will probably win this if they put Wang and Zhou on singles. Zhang and Zheng haven't done much in singles lately. Tipping UZB for 2nd because I would think Akgul would win all 4 of her matches. TPE in a 3rd due to Su-Wei and Chang not in great form at all.
