She seems to be on a downward spiral and it's showing in how she's playing. She doesn't seem bothered of interested anymore. Shes 30 yrs and her body doesn't seem like it's going to last for very long. She's achieved so much already, I think she'll announce her retirement this year....

You're overreacting. I made this thread to see predictions on when she may retire. I don't see a problem.

She should've retired after the Olympics and her nice win over Li.

She's finished as a top 20 player and has little name recognition now.
Time to move on, it's been a fun ride.

I dont even know why Hantuchova has as many fans as she does. I've never even seen her sign a single autograph after a match and in some cases Ive seen her take alternative exits off the court just to avoid the people supporting her.

I got one really easily in New Haven one year

Your lucky! lol I saw her last year in Cincinnati against Zheng Jie and even though she won the match she avoided the few people lined up for autographs and left via a back exit.

Thats not the first time Ive seen her do that though. But I just thought that was really rude to the people who paid to watch her play. I dont like her as much as I used to. :'(

Daniela seems pretty reserved but I have heard of her being really nice. Maybe, like everyone, she is not in the mood sometimes.

Yeah I can definitely respect players who are reserved and just prefer to stay out of the spotlight and focus on their tennis. But Pironkova is similar to Hantuchova in that she also doesnt like the attention, but whether she wins or loses she still takes the time to sign stuff. If Hantuchova's hardest part of her career is signing autographs ...

Still it will be sad the day she retires. Shes been around the game so long now.
