She won the match. There's your positive right there, because I don't think AORound2!Petra would have been able to pull off that first set.
Yes, her serve is still , I'll digress on that. And that disco top is also awful. But any match where Petra manages 36 winners AND a positive W/ue ratio is good enough in my book.

Also, on a lighter note, I have a dry erase board in my room and I usually draw a calendar on it and use it for the month...except now there is a little blurb on the side that counts how many matches Petra manages to win in a row. I need a less mentally exhausting hobby.

May I propose TA84's hobby of 'Ice cream tub collection' stemming from how many tubs of ice cream are consumed during petra matches ..TA84 also runs a selfhelp group for Mentally Exhausted Petra followers....that may be able to help you...

Well,Petra,I just caught some 1st Round results from Pattaya, and I apologize for even slightly comparing you to a joke like THAT one;the only way you'd ever be that much of a quitter is if the Czech mafia kidnapped a loved one and coerced you into tanking a match as part of some gambling fix .Keep having fun in Paris

I guess no practicing of that serve or any extra hitting today Petra, huh?
But then again, who would Petra have to hit with, unless she tried to hook up with one of the [female]players already competing.

Re: Calamity Kvitty heads to Paris for Mud Digging, Shopping and some Indoor Tennis!
A boxer would expose himself to ridicule from the boxing media if he didn't separate himself from his wife or gf for the final, intense training stage for a title fight(unless he somehow defied the odds and performed well in spite of his atypical approach...don't know if any great champions have ever consistently done that).
I'm not totally familiar with the tennis culture,so I'm wondering if it's considered acceptable for Petra,or any other WTA or ATP player,to share a hotel room with a spouse/lover during a tournament(???)

Huh!?
You talking about Petra's friend Veronica?
Cause as far as we know, thats the only person she's with, not Adam (unless you're joking of course. or have some stunning news to update us on).

yes, after several therapy sessions, i've decided that it's best to have NO expectations from Petra anymore LOL...that way, if she does win a title or something, then i'll be pleasantly surprised!
