Re: Ajmo Ana Savic!
Petterson defeated Kiick surprisingly easily in R1. Wonder what was wrong so far in this match, was Petterson playing like a GOAT and not missing at all, or was Ana sucking?

Re: Ajmo Ana Savic!
67 01.. raining now..
ana had 52 in first set..weather really got worse quickly from there..
extreme wind here.. difficult to play for anyone..
depending on how she adapts, she will perform..
if she starts timing, she should win..

Re: Ajmo Ana Savic!
[8] Ana Savic (CRO) d. [Q] Tammi Patterson (AUS) 67(3) 63 75
Phew, I'm relieved Ana won, but it was too close
I don't expect her to beat Bobusic but Ana has already done what she needed to do this week: reach the QF and pick up more points (14) than the first of her $10K titles in Turkey early last year (12 pts).

Re: Ajmo Ana Savic!
Ana very lucky there was a rain delay as IMO she wouldn't have won otherwise
Bojana will be hard, but if she wins I think she will be favourite for the title
EDIT: Turns out she lost and I hadn't checked the thread
Shame she lost though
Boj is a very good player though

Re: Ajmo Ana Savic!
lost to bobusic, 3 loong sets.. too much time on the court today
slow courts, fluffy balls, crazy wind..
good for experience, good for mental toughness.. but too much tennis..

I little bit of bad luck, let's hope that conditions would be better for next tournament...

Re: Ajmo Ana Savic!

Well, at least she defended points for first Antalya title in 2012.

Oh, and reach a new CH singles ranking, in the 220s
She'll be ~55 points away from top 200.
