Das große Problem mit den unkalkulierbaren Zeiten wird heute in Paris mal wieder bestätigt. Obwohl davor 4 Matches in 8! Stunden angesetzt wurden, wird die Night Session niemals um 19 Uhr anfangen können( das dritte Match ist im dritten Satz)

Man stelle sich vor das wäre in Stuttgart und die Partie Kerber- Lisicki . Das ZDF würde nach "heute" um 19.25 in dieses Match einsteigen und hätte bis 21 Uhr eingeplant, danach eine Sendung die sich leicht verschieben lässt.
Und dann sehen die Zuschauer statt dem deutschen Duell zwei Spielerinnen ,von denen sie als normale Zeitungsleser noch nie gehört haben.

Keiner soll sich darüber beschweren, dass die öffentlich-rechtlichen ihr Programm nicht mit Tennis füllen wollen. Nicht nur das Ende, sondern auch der Anfang ist unkalkulierbar.

Und das Argument "früher ging es doch auch" ist hinfällig , wir leben in der Gegenwart

Ähm, selbst in Boomzeiten hat man nicht alle Matches von den deutschen Turnieren gebracht und selbst ES hat nicht alles gezeigt.

Wo ist das Problem, wenn ich 2 Matches pro Tag auf den Digitalsendern bringe und vielleicht noch das für den deutschen Markt wichtigste Match dann im 3.Programm.
Früher gab es nicht mal Digitalsender oder bundesweit zu empfangene 3.Programme.

Außerdem gibt es noch so etwas wie Kooperationen, z.B. ab 1996 das ZDF zusammen mit Eurosport mit der Masters-Serie.

Ich denke übrigens, dass wir Stuttgart beim SWR sehen werden.

Aber stimme Dir total zu Chaosm21, ist absolut unplanbar. Razzanos laaaaangsame Art sich zu bewegen (und auch knapp 10 Minuten nach Satz 1 vom Platz zu gehen) tun ihr Übrigens.
Wobei heute auch eher eine Ausnahme ist. Mit N/B-Zeiten kann man schon einiges machen.

Die Übertragung aus Halle klappt doch auch gut. Nur die Quoten sind für das ZDF alles andere als gut.

Nicht über solche Dinge, wie Einschaltquoten oder wer jetzt beliebter war. Die Zeitungsarchive im Internet reichen nur bedingt in diese Zeit.

Nur sollte eigentlich jedem klar sein, dass packende 5-Satz-Matches natürlich spannender sind als ein 6:1 6:1 und somit höheres Interesse auslösen.

Wobei N/B Zeiten den Sendern die mehr als einzelne Matches zeigen wollen wieder stören dürftenn und für den Veranstalter sicher auch nicht unbedingt so toll sind.

Wenn Stich 1985 Wimbledon gewonnen hätte, hätte er keinen Boom ausgelöst.
Es kommt gerade im Sport auch auf die Persönlichkeit darauf an.

Eine Petkovic wird bei gleichen Erfolgen immer mehr Aufmerksamkeit bekommen als eine Kerber.
