my only German post for today, sorry
Julia will always be streaky and I think most posters agree on that. It's just the fact that she won Stuttgart and reached a back-to-back SF in Madrid that made people wonder if she is the next top player. Some people talked a lot about her at RG that year.
But it's been almost two years since and I think a Safarova-like career is quite likely. Although I do think she could get deeper at slams eventually.

Re: Julia from Paris to Miami 2013

So many up and downs from Julia in this match. She had chances to win too but it was Mladenovic who was the better player on the key points.
Her attitude was poor too today.

Re: Julia from Paris to Miami 2013

With her performance today she would have blown Peer (that's who she played in R1 last year) off the court. The draw always was bad luck, she got a player that played the match of her career so far today, but even if that didn't happen she would have had a difficult R2 and a very very difficult QF. It happens. Will she defend her final points in Dubai? Unlikely, and you'll have trouble containing yourself when you get to delete those points from her ranking.

But the way she has played at the AO and today I am confident that she'll be able to go far a few times this year.

She had her chances in Auckland where she was seeded at #2, but Görges and MM tournaments is another topic.

She was audibly and visibly sick in Auckland.

Excuse. If she was really ill, she wouldn't have played doubles.

Re: Julia from Paris to Miami 2013

She does not play well. Thats it. Its not because of her opponent's "well-being" it was not her "sickness". She lost an teenager. Again. Thats it, she just did not play well in her match; so:

If I was a pro, I would not be on twitter, that's for sure.

Re: Julia from Paris to Miami 2013
