I didn't either. Halfway through the semester I stopped trying to understand the material and to just memorize it, if that makes any sense. Still, I barely scraped by with a B- despite all of the work I did

I really like organic chem. Everything is a sequence. It's really just remembering structures and mechanisms.
It's not something impossibly difficult, it's just something that requires a lot of time to be studied. If you put in the hours I can guarantee you'll like it but it's finding the time and dedication to put in the hours.

If it's your first I can see into it. Stick with it, honestly if you do you'll like it. Plus, like I said before, organic chem is only memorizing things. I'd say later down the line a few more classes in it would be easier than some of the more mind boggling ones but each to their own.

Meanwhile finally got around to reading the last book of Wheel of Time series. 100 pages left and there better be one hell of a cop-out twist, my favourites have not fared well.

Yeah. There's a lot to remember but I've never felt the need to really understand in depth what was going on, just remember the shapes and mechanism diagrams. Although it's been integrated into my A-Levels for a year now, loads more on next module too, so I've had more time with it to adjust. I used to hate chem before we did organic, inorganic kills me.
