Totally Agree.
In order of difficulty for Monica I would rate them Zakopalova the toughest, then Errani and then Kvitova the easiest. Mostly because of their form and how they would likely match up against Monica. Would have much prefered Monica got Petra in the 2nd round but that's life.
Still, at least Monica has a decent 1st round.

Yeah, the contrast in styles should work a treat. If the two click this could be a fine team.

Re: The Amazing and Remarkable Monica Niculescu
Knowing Monica, she'll probably ditch her next week anyway.
The more I think about it, the less confident I am about Monica's chances against Carla...

I would love it if Monica got a regular doubles partner but it seems she enjoys playing the field. By now she has probably already had 50+ partners on the tour and she has only been on the tour herself 5 years.
And re: CSN, if this was outdoors, this would be difficult match, if this was clay this would be a nightmare match but it's indoors and indoors I'm pretty confident Monica will take it.

Re: The Amazing and Remarkable Monica Niculescu
I can see Monica becoming a doubles specialist after her singles career, but I don't know if she will find a constant partner by that time or if she would be interested to begin with.
Whenever I've seen CSN playing on indoor courts, she was straight awful (bar Moscow which is slower than clay these days, though).

Re: The Amazing and Remarkable Monica Niculescu
Well done to qualify
I guess it all depends on Carla's form. I have seen her playing terrible matches but also pretty good matches.

Re: The Amazing and Remarkable Monica Niculescu
Pathetic and disappointing.
And a well deserved choking entry.

Nice call. Got to say I didn't see this loss coming at all.

Yeah, really disappointing and a pretty poor performance all round. First time I've been really disappointed by how Monica played in a long time, since before Luxembourg really. Not good at all.
Credit to CSN though, she was totally untroubled by Monica's slices, something that can't be said of most of Monica's opponents indoors.

Re: The Amazing and Remarkable Monica Niculescu
Monica simply overdid that slice. The only time she really mixed up her game was at the beginning of the 2nd set where she comfortably outplayed CSN.
Afterwards back to pushing and losing.
Best example was when she tried for once to go for an agressive shot after one of Carla's short balls, hit the easy winner and got those 2 SPs just to go back to uninspired junk balling afterwards.
With this performance she would have lost to most other players in the draw as well. I can't even say Suarez was that good, some of her errors were idiotic as well and her movement and serve sucked massively.

Re: The Amazing and Remarkable Monica Niculescu
I only saw the first set but for me she wasn't playing aggressive enough.
