Sveta was just in a sophomore slump this year, and it wasnt even that bad a year, with a couple of QFs. She'll bounce back and has the talent to win more.
Serena obviously cant be written off. Her year was ruined by injuries, but she definitely can win more even when not at her best, as she showed at the AO.

I picked Myskina, Dementieva, & Davenport for sure.
I think Lindsay is just about @ the end of her career, she's come very close, but she is quickly running out of chances.
I have no clue what the future holds for Myskina, but I don't feel like she will win more slams, I think she's a good player, there are just too many that are better.
I don't think Dementieva will ever win one, unless her serve undergoes a major transformation. Its too hard to expect to be able to break your opponents serve everytime b/c u can't hold your own.
I thought Amelie, but the YEC was encouraging, perhaps there's still hope.
Kuznetsova has the ability to win the French IMO
Sharapova will win many more, Justine, Venus & Serena have more left in them as well.
Kim should win more.

i totally agree that venus won her wimby this year by winning top players and playing her heart out. but, wow! you are devaluating the accomplishments of the other players who won GSs in your post

definitely Kuznetsova talk about a one slam wonder if ever i saw one she prolly wont ever make a Semi-Final she just aint that good IMO very very lucky that Lindsay got injured during that semi otherwise she wouldnt even need to be on this list as we would not even be thinknig about her as a chance.

I think Linds... Not becuase she is the worst player or a bad player or I hate her (I do not)... It will just become tougher and tougher to come back from tough losses, especially in finals.
