2013 discoPetra looks much the same shape as 2011 Petra to me

I think the main issue is getting her head/confidence sorted, since the new fitness regime seems to have thrown things a bit.

No, I was speaking about someone who was referring to THIS specific outfit. No other.

I was only pointing out the dichotomy between the two camps. I think it's funny.

I myself (as I've said many times), try not to get caught up with Petra's appearance from tournament to tournament (like so many here and on GM do). They're too many variables that come into the mix to make such flippant remarks and conclusions. In addition to the fact, that I've seen Petra skinny, and not play well. And I've seen her bigger, and not only play well, but last very long, from being patient during her rallys in matches and tournaments she's won.

It's not always as simple as we all like to make it out be (unless we come to the conclusion that Petra and her team are not just prepared/professional overall, which I already subscribe to).

You could very well be correct on everything you said.

However, keep in mind, I've seen other people reference different pics--from those exact same tournaments--they came from, to illustrate how skinny and "fit" Petra was. So once again, it just shows you how different outfits, their fit, colors, and picture angles, can affect someones appearance.

And of course, none of this let's us know how well prepared, trained Petra's body and tennis is, along with her head, confidence and mental frame work.

They're all factors. Cause Petra, is not one of those top players (not at the moment, until proven otherwise), who can/will give you expected performances or effort in certain/set areas.

It's the just the clothes, seating position, photo, lighting, distance/angle and setting, most likely.
