Bei Kvitova waren das nicht nur die Nerven. Die hat in dem Match gegen Robson dermaßen viele Doppelfehler und UE fabriziert, dass es kaum anzusehen war. Das muss andere Gründe haben.

Ich meine damit eher, dass Außenseiter eben oft abfallen, wenn es eng war und sie den Sack nicht zu machen können.

Kvitova hat auf mich gegen Robson phasenweise einen ziemlich depressiven Eindruck gemacht. Ich bin auch der Meinung, dass sie nicht besonders gerne im Rampenlicht steht und speziell dann mit dem ganzen Rummel um ihre Person nach dem Erfolgsjahr 2011 nicht so gut zurechtgekommen ist.

Vielleicht hat ihr in der Offseason einfach die innere Energie gefehlt, sich vernünftig auf die neue Saison vorzubereiten. Ich hoffe auf jeden Fall, dass sie wieder die Kurve kriegt.

Li hat ja auch schon Endspiel-Erfahrung. War schließlich 2011 im AO-Finale und hat die FO gewonnen.

Was ein Quatsch, das machen alle Spieler ständig...es gibt kaum einen Spieler der das noch nie gemacht hat. Das ist einfach nur komplett verlogen, die US-Medien drehen nur derart durch weil Stephens Amerikanerin ist.

Wenn Vika gegen eine Russin gespielt hätte würde das keinen jucken.

Naja, die amerikanischen Medien haben die letzten 24 Stunden damit verbracht, Stephens in den Himmel zu loben und als die dann vermöbelt wurde, sobald sie auf die erste halbwegs starke Gegnerin getroffen ist braucht's halt eine Erklärung.
