If she makes the Final her new deep and topspin loaded FH should work wonders in cutting down the UEs. Based on form throughout it should be Maria's but we know she is more than capable of flopping to Vika or Li. There can be no fuckery from her side of the court if she's to win.

Tough to be anything other than cool and classy when you are injured. Not much she can do or regret and I'm sure in her mind she didn't really lose the match so it's easier to deal with but I agree her fans don't help the cause buuuuuut Serena is still a bitch to the first degree.

We can be happy Serena is out all we want fact remains at least to me that Azarenka is a worse matchup for Maria than Serena is. Some of you will disagree but it's tough to like those 2 matchups from either side. Going to still have to dig deep if she wants to win the Aussie.

Maria needs to treat this as a mini Grand Slam vengeance tour. She needs to avenge the French semi from 2 years ago against Li, which was the worst defeat I've ever experienced following Maria's career. And, of course, then she needs to avenge last year's debacle against Vika.

Hello. New member who bows down to everything Shar and always believes.

This match made me realize why I've never been a big Serena fan. Despite her dominance in the game for over a decade she is still mentally frail. Whether you are outplaying her or there's an injury it's very easy to get into her head. She isn't a fighter. Serena and Vika have more game but Shar might be the most solid player in between the ears ever in the WTA.

I like Sloane and her sudden cattiness in recent weeks. I think she's a possible top five-er by the year's end if not sooner.
