Like them if they are designed well and maintained properly but absolutely despise breast tattoos

I hate tattoos with words in general, but when you said "loved ones", my first thought was something else. But in general having the names of the loved ones (dead or alive) is something I don't really approve. When it comes to emotions, I'm a very private person, I choose other ways to express it, so, yeah, I generally dislike those tattoos.

While I would agree that it would be rather stupid to assign a particular character trait to all people with tattoos, it's perfectly reasonable to have the opinion that tattoos look terrible/trashy/whatever. It's an aesthetic judgment, not a personal one. On a related note, I have a nose ring, which I'm sure many people find gross. This does not bother me in the least, nor do I feel the need to defend my character to people that don't like them, because who cares?

Re: Tattoos on women

I bet Maggie Smith, Judi Dench and Maria don't have one. Kerry Katona and Cheryl Cole do.

I think that answers the question.

So many retarded posts like this one in this thread. Do you have any idea how many people in the world have tattoos? So you associate all of us with hepatitis and think we're all vulgar and disgusting? Besides, people like you and that idiot ys should read the title better, it says Tattoos on women, not Profile of tattooed people.

Was that as a direct result of you having a man with several holes in his face doodle on your limbs?

Re: Tattoos on women

I don't have any tattoos myself: I'd be too scared (the THOUGHT of that needle descending, and the pain!) and I know I'd change my mind/want to try and scratch it off or something within days but I think some tattoos can look quite cool (for want of a better word) (forgive me, it's cold here ). I've toyed with the idea of getting a little tattoo in the past but I really don't think I'd ever go through with it.

I agree that some tattoos can look horrible (whether they be on men or women). I once worked with a woman who had a written tattoo which contained a big grammatical mistake.

I dunno, I think that Kat Von D can pull off her look...
