I've watchd her match against Caro like 4 times and I'm so impressed the way she played. Sveta played such smart tennis (in the 2nd set there were too many mistakes, but still she didn't freak out like a year or two ago). I was also impresed by her serve. Not so fast but inteligent. I wonder how it will work against Vika.
The only thing I did not like it's her new clothes. There is "SK" logo on the back of the dress and on the right side of the hat. So it looks like long term deal. But in general the dress style is lousy. I miss her shorts and bandana...

On the court now vs. Vika.
Great first set, although she lost. Was up *4-1, until Vika upped her game. Vika served for the set at *6-5, and Sveta got her to deuce, but couldn't break. Set lost on a bh slice into the net.

She lost 5 - 7 / 1 - 6 
Was an excellent 1st set. Very good match from both, despite the loss.. She couldn't keep up in the second, especially after twisted her ankle.  I wonder why she didn't call the coach after that..
Anyway, was an excellent tournament from her. Quarter-Finals of a Slam.. Proud to see and say she's finally back!!  |

Proud of her despite the loss. Great to hear that she played v well against the world #1 in the first set. Hope her ankle is fine and she will be even better for Roland Garros
