Their match. They are indeed quite different, however Aga winning (or not) a slam wouldn't make a difference to the comparison of their respective styles - Sharapova doesn't play like Clijsters just because they both won 4 slams.

Seriously though, this whole comparison thing is rather silly. Major titles, win-loss ratio, winning first slam at the age of 16 - what can Aga show here, really? Those are the likes that have beaten Aga deep in slams.

I think they get compared because they play a similar role - relying on craft, tactics, variety etc. in comparison to their more powerful rivals. Personally, I don't think of Martina when I watch Aga; I just think people see a correlation between them.

Hingis is a FRAUD. She tested positive for cocaine in Wimbledon 2007.

The likelihood that she is a little Lance Armstrong of tennis is quite high. When their career is slipping away into obscurity the cheaters will try to compensate by increasing the dose. Thereby also increasing the chance of getting caught..
Hingis probably cheated all her career. Just like Lance Armstrong never really won a Tour de France Hingis probably never won a GS. But I'm glad she doesn't want to be compared to Aga.

Also: Hingis tactical skills are questionable. She couldn't handle junior Azarenka. Aga could. Perhaps Hingis the cheater thought she could take on junior Azarenka without cheating. Obviously she was wrong.
