Wobei ich mich frage, ob die Rückenverletzung vielleicht etwas damit zu tun hat, dass sie die Smashes nicht hingekriegt hat.

Zumindest konnte sie nicht mehr richtig aufschlagen mit der Verletzung. Wahrscheinlich hätte es heute auch dann nicht gereicht, wenn sie das Break gemacht hätte.

Im Vollbesitz ihrer Kräfte hätte sie die Smashpunkte mit Sicherheit gemacht. Das wäre das 5-3 gewesen. Ich behaupte mal ganz frech, ohne Verletzung gewinnt sie das Ding. Angie konnte spätestens im Zweiten zudem nicht mehr richtig aufschlagen.

Insofern hält sich meine Enttäuschung doch in Grenzen. Wenn du verletzt bist, gehts halt nicht.

Wann ungefähr spielt Jule? Aha Doppel, dann Almagro, also wenn man um halb 8 aufsteht, sollte das reichen.

Der Aufschlag war schon sehr entscheidend. Sie hat kaum mal einen freien Punkt damit gemacht und musste um jeden Ball bei eigenem Aufschlag kämpfen im Gegensatz zu Makarova.

Schade irgendwie Wenn die Jule nicht gewinnt ist ihre #5 auch spätestens anfang Februar weg, aber ob nun #5 oder #6 ist auch egal. Eigentlich hat sie ja auch nicht schlecht gespielt. Aber der Rücken scheint sie ernsthaft behindert zu haben und die vergebene Breakchance hat ihr dann wohl auch psychisch den Rest gegeben. Mal hoffen das Sharapova auch rausfliegt.

Jule ist natürlich die einzige auf die ich nciht gewettet hab. Aber ehrlich gesagt ist mir jetzt auch scheiß egal, ob sie weiter kommt oder nicht. Bin jetzt erst mal bedient. Mag dann morgen früh wieder ganz anders sein.

Leider geht es für Julia wohl auch nicht weiter, da würde wohl nur ein Wunder helfen. Aber ist schon schön zu sehen das sie genauso weit gekommen ist wie die total überhypte Kerber.

Doch auch bloss weil Kvitova erbärmlich unter ihrem Level spielt. Kerber gehört da im Grunde gar nicht hin, hat man heute wieder gesehen.
