I don't want Ana/Li anywhere near Maria, also much more so Li. She just drags the worst out of Maria. Yeah she'll have to be playing well to get past Angie and Aga so that's why I would like her to play them. Still, Flipkens first and you never know when Maria will dish out one of her specials.

I agree usually when Maria plays against Li she's really bad  also when she wins against her the next match she plays is a shitfest ex. Beijing 2012

Instead of taking offense Venus fans should take it as a compliment that Maria celebrated her victory in this manner. It proves that Maria doesn't consider Venus a has been, but a dangerous opponent and beating her an achievement.

What don't you understand? Serena gets the preferential treatment. Always has, always will. For example, her reaction to that 128 mph serve. Serena does it, everyone says "aww she's adorable I love Serena". If Maria did that? She would get OBLITERATED. It really ticks me off that people act this way when Maria is by far the classier person.

They don't get it because they prefer not to get it. Listen, most haters (in this case Masha haters, but it applies to haters of other players as well) have specific agendas. The're not impartial observers. They put, and will continue to put a negative spin on every little thing Maria says or does, or doesn't say or do.

But, but, but... since you used the term, and I've been dying to know for a while. I understand that "stan" is terminology for a hardcore fan, but why "stan"? What the flip does that mean? EXPLAIN.
