20 direct entries. Last one is #24 Pavlyuchenkova.
Only top players missing are Sharapova, Bartoli, Wickmayer and Jankovic.
Next in MD are Hsieh, Cirstea and Shvedova. #25 V.Williams not coming to Dubai.

Sad about Venus not coming here, she usually plays so well, and is the 2 time defending champ if you exclude her last 2 absent years 
Suppose she see's her early schedule fairly full with the AO, Paris and Doha, with Fed Cup potentially chucked in as well.

Marion Bartoli seems to be playing a light schedule this year. Last year the only Premier event she missed was Brisbane because she was playing the Hopman Cup. First Sydney and now Dubai?
