I would say 9 because Connolly has to be in the one of the greatest players discussion. How can she not be? Lenglen officially only has 8 but she actually won the closed French Championships 4 times as well so I would say she gets in on a technicality.

That gives the Top 10 (Lenglen, Seles, Connolly, BJK, Serena, Wills, Evert, Navratilova, Graf, Court) that most people would agree as for a discussion on the greatest players.

Therefore, it is 9.
