She actually has enough weapons to avoid and compensate defensive play especially against such opponents.
Not really, she has a projected ranking of #39 now-- she won't be too far away from that when the official rankings come out after the AO.
There will be some players who will pass her in this week. I expect a position between 41 and 45 after the AO. And she has more points to defend in the following weeks. She is simple too weak at Grand Slams. From the last 4 Grand Slams, she lost 3 times against a player outside the top 50.
