As to the next match, I'm pretty confident Mona will take that too... unless she loses concentration and maybe starts thinking and calculating about how much energy she needs to preserve for next week's AO.
Well she`s in the final now. The reward to win the title again would surely boost her confidence and hopefully will convince her to play some more good tennis for one hour or so instead of starting to calculate about her tank.
Not to get carried away with that for now, but if she could win the title at Hobart and get through to the third round against Aga, it would be additionally exciting to watch the encounter of the two pre-AO tournament winners.
Always too many UEs in her game but as long as she makes the important points, that is what counts in the end!
Great start, hope she can beat Vesnina this time but tough match, we´ll see, hope Mona can show a good match..
record of the russian in finals isn´t that great, so we´ll see..
Magdalena Maleeva's last words at her send-off:
"There is a saying that there is no friendship in tennis, but I've proven the opposite. After all of them are here, it means that there is friendship and I want to thank them for being here tonight. I hope the fans are happy too."
My blog about my semester spent in China (bilingual in both German and English): http://crazillo.jimdo.com! Please feel free to make comments!!
I'm still regretting I chose Spanish instead of German as a 2nd foreign language in highschool though
Where? It looks like the similar kind of arrangement as is common in Holland, where pupils are left to choose between French, German or Spanish (nowadays - in the past it would have been automatically French & German).
