Re: Christina McHale
Seedings are based on this weeks ranking, and Xtina is 36th, so she will not be seeded unless a few others pull out. Unfortunately, all she needed was to beat Parmentier last week, and she would be seeded for the AO. Damn.

Re: Christina McHale
I missed the match, but from what i've read X-Tina played a very solid match. It looks even better after looking at what Li just did to Morita... a bagel & a breadstick
GL to X-Tina in Melbourne!

So rough. I hope she avoids a seed in R1. She needs an easier R1 matchup to give her some confidence. She hasn't won a match since the Rogers Cup

Re: Christina McHale
Christina drew Yulia Putintseva of KAZ in R1 of AO MD.

Cool
Hopefully X-Tina has fully regained her energy & has enough match play to play her best at the AO... GL against Yulia

Re: Christina McHale
I heard she has gone back to her old coach and has been feeling better since November.
Hope she regains her old form back and has another spectacular year!

I think this will be a gritty R1 match, but Christina has the experience. Also Putintseva won't blow her off the court, so it'll give her a chance to do some dictating and really go for her shots.

Re: Christina McHale
did all of her fans leave the forum already?
anyway, i'm not even surprised she lost. seems like she can play long matches after the mono but i think she's forgotten how to win matches.
and i think everybody knows how to play her now. she can still win against a player who hits errors but i don't think she has a clue how to play against a counter-puncher and some of these lower ranked players.
i hope she can find her game again soon.

Re: Christina McHale
Yeah, this is really sad...... Definitely losing to players now, she should not be losing to.
If its the mono and she is still lethargic or not well enough to play matches, then pull out, get well, and come back ready to win. I dont like what I see with her game right now...

Re: Christina McHale
She can't be in form, she MUSTN'T. A good form now will carry a big slump in future. She has to grow gradually.

Well, Xtina has a rematch against Parmentier in the 1st round of the Paris Indoors. Please get back in form Xtina!
