Laura is starting her season with 25K Innisbrook this week. She managed to qualify (was seed 1). Here is her draw now.

Hi. Just happened to see this thread when I was browing the French player forums and thought I would mention that I saw Laura's match against Sophia Kenin yesterday at Port St. Lucie 1R qualies. Laura was the stronger player in the match, physically and mentally, and looked to be in control throughout except for a stretch in the first set where it was fairly tight. Laura's right thigh was wrapped during the match and she called the trainer near the end of the first set for a medical t/o and left the court to have it treated and wrapped again. When she returned, she closed out the first set 6-4 and then raced out to a 5-1 lead in set 2 before coughing up a break to Kenin and then finally re-breaking for the match.

Hi! Thanks for the small report, Kenin is very young so it was pretty much sure that Laura would overcome her.
Laura d. Scheepens in Q2, 6-2 6-1, so apparently her injury is not really bothering her, I hope so.

Laura lost to Muhammad 2-6 0-2 ret.  I guess it's the injury that was bothering her in Q1. Hope it's nothing serious.  Get better soon Laura
