Re: String Tension: Are you loose or tight?
It won't hurt your arm, but you won't have any feel, or control. You need new strings.
I have my strings at 48lbs on a 100 inch head. Yeah, I can also use it to chase butterflies.

Re: String Tension: Are you loose or tight?
hi guys I use prince syn gut and after playing with it for awhile the mains and cross will have a notch click thing. I will move it down or up a little bit to get away from the notch so maybe string will last longer. My question is will it affect the ball hitting since it's not exactly at the right spot. I just got my racquet strung I am thinking about move the cross up a little, then later when the notch develops I will move it down some.

Re: String Tension: Are you loose or tight?
I actually never tried tight strings. I have always played at around 26/25 kg (I use a 98 sq. inch Yonex racquet). I don't lack power though, maybe I should go up a little bit?
