Ha, Lyuda is playing AO qualies, that's why she isn't playing that Chinese 50K with Nadiya, now I understand.  It actually hadnt crossed my mind at all that her ranking was high enough to allow her to play qualies. I believe this is her 1st Slam Q ever.  ( Edit: I checked and it is indeed.)
She got a tough draw though, she's in the Seed 1 section.

Maryna Zanevska (UKR) v Jill Craybas (USA)
Tamarine Tanasugarn (THA) v Cagla Buyukakcay (TUR)

Omg, Lyuda won!   
I can't believe it, she was down a break in set 2 when I stopped following the score because I was so tired I could barely keep my eyes open, and when I checked the scores now, I was totally expecting to see she lost.
But she won!!! 3-6 7-5 8-6 ... so proud of her. 
Q2 against Buyukakcay. If she managed to beat Ormaechea, she can definitely beat her. Just hope she isn't too tired from that draining 1st match. Buyukakcay's got a draining match as well (won 10-8 in the 3rd set).
