Well okay, I understand about Wimbledon, but the AO? I think there's distance between the 'easiness' of that one compared to the latter two.

Not a GS but Olympics...Never seen such a dominate play in such a prestige tournament, arena, and event. 6-0 6-1 against Sharapova in a final explains it all.

Re: Which was Serena's easiest road to a Slam title?

2012 US Open was a joke of a draw.

Headcase slumping Ivanovic in QF, Errani in a SF is everything you could ask for, it was a ridiculous luxury training on Ashe Stadium.

Pidgeon Azarenka in the final.

Re: Which was Serena's easiest road to a Slam title?

Serena has won slams in every era she's played so it doesn't really matter who the competition was at those slams. She would have won anyways. Then again since the OP supports a player who's been given many cakewalk slam draws she couldn't take advantage of due to poor play I understand the bitterness.

Re: Which was Serena's easiest road to a Slam title?

She's had so many, why limit it to just these three?

Anyway, to answer, 2012 US Open. Many Tier 1 wins are way more impressive.

Re: Which was Serena's easiest road to a Slam title?

Wimbledon 2010 or US Open 2012.

But to be fair, any player who has multiple Grand Slam wins is bound to have some that are easier than others. I am sure if we dissected either Graf or Navratilova's slams wins we would find some pretty pathetic draws .
