They should take the reporters from the National Enquirer, the Star, and USWeekly and make them hunt down the terrorists. They would find the terrorists. All of them.
It's amazing how parents will put their kids in peril to put a stupid video on the internet. 'Germs' aside, that cat was about to flip out; luckily, it didn't.
We have a show here called America's Funniest Home Videos which feature countless other examples of such stupidity.
There was an article in the NYT a few months ago about how dogs and on a smaller scale cats improve the immune systems of infants because of all the germs that they expose them to. In addition these babies had lower incidence of asthma as compared to babies who grew up in households without pets.
Cat scratches and bites can be very dangerous because they (like all bites) can get infected.
IMHO, based on raising two kids in a home with cats and dogs, it is never too early to start teaching your kids the right way to handle animals, i.e. gently and lovingly for both their safety and yours.
