YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN CLOSE and that huge trophy from Auckland is the biggest one you'll ever get.

the goal of any top 10 player should be to win a slam ... well maybe except for Sara

She was miles away, Serena just wiped her ass in that final set. Didn't let her even think about winning.
As for Sara, she is more, like, winning the MM calendar.

I disagree.
I'm no Aga fan but I think it's very likely she'll reach both her goals if she continues her development. Only Serena really stands in Aga's way but Serena is notoriously injury prone and getting old. Maria and Vika were both better than Aga in 2012 but that could very well change this year.

Re: Queen Aggie: "I want to win a Slam and to be World No.1 this year!"
It is realistic that when you have been no. 2 and made a slam final to expect to go one step further.
secondly, if Myskina could win FO then Radwanska definitely can.
thirdly, Maria only wins slams every second year, she lost 2010 coz of injury which she reclaimed last year. She also wins them in order, so wimby 2014 is maria's.
That leaves her wit Serena and Vika. She won't need ti beat them, a razzano may happen and with vika some inspired semi finalist may just o it eg Kerber.

Wouldn't surprise me in the least. She's improved out of sight over the last couple of years and is still getting better I think. The competition is stiff, but she's in the mix I'd say.
