that is true as well.....you need to win each point two times on an average against rafael.....fed often hits 5 winning shots in a point and still discovers a way to lose the point......

Considering the domes and the expected heat, if the courts were faster (still a big if at the moment), I'm sure it would suit Fed. Roger likes faster and indoor courts, for sure.
The question is: Would Fed be in that position to win anyway, against a hot Novak or Murray? You can argue, that was his lucky Wimby last year, when Rafa got knocked out, and then facing a game, but Green Murray in the final.
And if the courts were actually faster, you can't rule out a Jerzy Janowicz , Tomas Berdyh, Juan Martin Del Potro or Joe Wilfred Tsonga spoiling the FED party as well.
Roger has shown he's susceptible to big hitters on faster courts, in recent years.
