Re: Pac 12
no, they don't hibernate, for example Barte/Burdette and Burdette/Gibbs actually won WAATCs and later NCAAs in the same season.
And Burdette is not even on the team, so I'm not sure about STAN team winning the NCAA this time
Anyway therefore curious how STAN will compose their dbls lineup. They're practically starting from tabula rasa(clean slate).

Re: Pac 12
Well, STAN always produces stellar dbls teams, recently multiple slam winners
Barte/Burdette(L)
Barte/Burdette(M)
Gibbs/Burdette(M)
But there's no Burdettes now. Tsay is as tall and good too, wonder how they'll be paired up.

Re: Pac 12
Fear the Bruin; UCLA def. UA, without Robin, Pam, Kyle playing singles. Won the dbls pt, only #2 Anderson/Morton lost against Macfarlane/Guarachi.
I think UA won 5 & 6 and remainder UCLA.
Ray def. Guarachi in 2(after trailing 0-5 in the 1st)
Harrison def. Foehse
Morton def. Ebada
Van Nguyen def. Macfarlane
Maynetto def. Dolehide?
Zabor def. Fleming?

Re: Pac 12
I just checked Addidas USTA COLLEGIATE INVITE(PORTLAND) site, and
USTA Player Development:
Coaches: Marc Lucero, Freddy Rodriguez
Gabby Andrews (Pomona, California) - High School Sophomore
Brooke Austin (Indianapolis, Indiana) - High School Junior
Jenny Brady (Boca Raton, Florida) - High School Senior
Caroline Doyle (San Francisco, California) - High School Senior
Jessica Ho (Wexford, Pennsylvania) - High School Sophomore
Dasha Ivanova (Beaverton, Oregon) - High School Sophomore
Claire Liu (Thousand Oaks, California) - 7th Grader
Kimberly Yee (Las Vegas, Nevada) - High school Sophomore
Indeed, Caroline IS Senior, TRN got it wrong, so she's not graduating early or something.

Re: Pac 12
Thanks fantic. In your blog, at court #3 for singles, you put "Sam". I was confused. Did you mean to put "Skylar"?

Re: Pac 12
Maybe she's planting the seed of coaching one day. Two-time NCAA champ and over 12 years as a tennis pro. Not bad credentials...

Re: Pac 12
In fact, that's what Laura Granville did after winning NCAA's twice and almost 10 years as a tennis pro...

Re: Pac 12
I believe she already finished it. She's been there for at least a year now.
