I got a better offer at British Vogue, in the art department too
In all seriousness, for me to move and work in New York (which is the plan) I need to save up money and build my contacts more. I think I'll head to New York in about 1-2 years (I'm only 21 now) and build a life there, but thanks for asking

That all sounds so amazing. Well at least you didn't have to downsize the internship.
Yeah, New York requires a lot of money, and contacts is really important. That's why I'm so hooked up on London uni's so you can build up the network.

You see this is why I still have the doubts about Medicine, I think I would be well suited to Marketing or PR. More money plus less hours etc. Although at the same time I would love Medicine too, plus you could work anywhere after a few years of practice, you just might have to take exams or something for the respective country. A mess I am.

What Uni do/did you go to if you don't mind me asking? I'm assuming it's one with a good rep for fashion related studies or else you're just really good at what you do?

I think studying medicine is a really admirable profession
but some of my friends who study fashion PR have a really good time on their internships, plus PR's usually get a lot of free stuff.

Well I have the benefit of taking a gap year so I've more time to decide what I actually want to do.
I guess I'll just do a few stints of work experience in both areas and whatever suits me best I'll go with.

That's why I'm considering Psychology, it's a great degree to have going into Marketing/PR but you could also apply for postgrad entry Medicine. The worst thing about seriously considering Medicine is once you sort of go off it, you're stung with all these doubts about not wanting to regret not doing it later down the line.

I would love to work in either area, so I guess it really just up to me to truly decide what I want to do more.
