QF against Marion. Actually, this seems a good match up for her. Marion leads 3:2, including the last two meetings, but Klara beat her in Hobart two years ago. If Klara is confident, and Marion continues her slow start, this could prove to be an upset.

Wow, great job against Monica! She's into her first WTA since Seoul in 2010. Now faces #1 Na Li, in the battle of the 30-year-olds. (They were born two days apart!)
Unbelievably, Klara has a 2:1 edge over Na h2h, all played on hardcourts. She'll want to do better, however, than the performance she gave at IW last year, losing 1 & 0.
Could be a fun match!

Whatever happens in the final, she will reach a career high ranking (22-24), which also means she'd avoid the top 8 in a potential third round match at the AO. Not a bad start to the year.

Klara almost pulled the upset, falling to Na in three-- 36 61 57! Did anyone watch the match? I'm most curious about the second and third sets!
