Re: Brisbane F: Serenus def. Pavlyuchenkova 6-2 6-1
Nastia can do some real damage at AO; she looked much fitter out there and was hitting really well. I guess that training down in Mauritius with Serena did her well. They both look great.

Re: Brisbane F: Serenus def. Pavlyuchenkova 6-2 6-1
What Serena ha done throughout het carreer, but especially what she's been doing these last 10 months is simply extraordinary.
I wonder how many people (even her fans ) really recognise this.
She's just SO good, and obviously still very committed. The ultimate cocktail of talent, hard work and a great athletic body.
She is never my favourite player, but as a sports (tennis) fan, I feel like once in a while, it worth pointing out what she's doing, and how she's doing it.
She is "on another level"

Serena CONGRATS, that's all I can say. Loved those angles and 2nd serve aces!

Careful now, or you'll be called a " stan" like the rest of those who give such praise.

Missed the match, had stupid things to do.
But from what I have read on TF, Serena's form looks spectacular and ruthless. Ugh it is so boring I want to see some drama at the Aussie Open! but yes Serena is the cleaaaaar favourite, and all the odds are on here.
Just, I don't want her to be the GOAT of all GOATs and I dare to hope that my faves will be useful this year

I have to say she is growing on me, I never thought that this day would come not after everything she's done to me and my fave.

Why don't you want her to be the GOAT of all GOATs (which she already is )?

My avatar is amazing.
As for 2007 well "only" 2 slams won but I was rooting for Vaidisova to beat her indoors and at the YEC for Hantuchova then Justine.
Sorry no what I mean by drama is Serena having epic matches and maybe losing them in Slams she really seems untouchable, it is incredible what she is achieving really.
