Funny you should mention. I was just checking the EL for my local challenger, as it was due out today, and she is listed as a low alternate:

But as has been her pattern for the US ITFs, she will likely withdraw before she gets anywhere near qualies.

She is listed as MDO, which means main draw only, and considering her ranking the odds of her getting directly into the main draw are virtually nil, so there is actually no need for her to withdraw.

Romana will play german league in May and then she has the intention to play some ITF tournaments... we will keep you updated... the information that she has retired is not true.... i would know something about this as her manager.... |
