She's currently behind Shahar Peer by 1 point. She can't even win that

Re: Alexandra Cadantu
Despite her collapse at the end of the year, Alex actually had her best year on tour in 2012, ending it in the Top 100 for the second year counting.
2012 90
2011 96
She starts 2013 off in Shenzhen.
Here is her draw:
Li v Minella
Bratchikova v Cohen
Duan v Q
Cadantu v Jovanovski
Bojana is a bit of a wild card-- she did well in Australia last year, but her results trailed off significantly at the end of 2012. If she's lacking in confidence, and Alex is looking to start with a clean slate, Alex may have a chance.

Re: Alexandra Cadantu
well, if she beats BoJo, she has a BYE in R2
but she is Romanian, she will always find a way to fuck up this draw

Indeed, she will destroy Bojana but will lose against Duan

Well, you can translate that thread by who is your most disliked player and then you get that result I guess...

The only thing that will be destroyed in R1 is the sport of tennis...
I always wanted to see them playing each other. They have very much alike to be honest.

Re: Alexandra Cadantu
Except Bojana actually has the power to match her agressiveness Alex should just keep the ball in play and hope that Bojana has a shit day

Re: Alexandra Cadantu
Alex continues her losing ways from late last year, losing to Bojo, 3 & 1.

Re: Alexandra Cadantu
Disappointing, but didn't see the match so I'm not able to say much.
Sydney Q should be more meaningful.

Re: Alexandra Cadantu
One could hardly expect her to win, but a little more competitive would have been nicer...
